But this time it people were coming for a fantastic, family-friendly day and evening of live music.
After initially training as a journalist, Steve Harley began his singing career 'floor-spotting' (singing for free as a member of the audience) in London folk clubs.
He soon formed Cockney Rebel and signed their first album deal with EMI in 1972, topping the charts in 1975 with their hit single Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me).
Meanwhile In a career spanning over 35 years Toyah Willcox has amassed 13 top 40 singles, recorded 24 albums and toured live across the world.

All money raised from Music in the Meadow will go towards Secret World's work to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured and orphaned wildlife.
