A TRACTOR was completely destroyed in a fire near Highbridge this afternoon (Friday, July 10).
Firefighters from Burnham-on-Sea and Bridgwater were sent to the scene of the incident in East Brent at 3.24pm.
On arrival, the incident commander confirmed that a tractor was well alight in a field, and crews swiftly got to work to extinguish the fire using breathing apparatus and a main jet.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "The fire caused 100 per cent damage to the tractor and some damage to the attached mower."
