THE Bridgwater Ladies’ Darts League played the first round of their Pairs Knock-out and there were no shocks or surprises as the eight finalists are all from the top division.
League leaders Squib A have two pairs into the finals.
Kay Bisset and Christine Blackmore got through at the Malt Shovel along with Jean Envine and Mary Lovibond of the George.
Becky Taylor and Jan Nunn went through at the Hope Inn, where Kayleigh Collard hit a 100 out.
Norfolk ’n’ Chance also have two pairs through. Sharon Webb and Sherri Watts were the other pair to win at the Hope, with Cindy Bradfield and Nikki Lloyd coming through at the Old Market along with one of the two pairs from the Black Horse the qualify, Sam Hurley and Fran Bisset.
Their second pair through are Mariane Bisset and Natasha Coleman, who won at the Squib with Lions pair Sandy Smith and Linda Hart.
Crown’s Janet Loaring hit a 131 away on the board.
Meanwhile, Norfolk ’n’ Chance moved second in Division One after beating The Fockers 11-4 in a make-up match.
They are now two points behind leaders Squib A but still have one more match to make up – against the George Hotel.
