A UNIQUE and fun family event will return for Lympsham residents this Saturday and Sunday September 2 and 3.
Lympsham Scarecrow Trail will welcome families for a stroll through the village to spot scarecrows.
This year's scarecrows will be film-themed, and positioned around Lympsham.
The day will begin at Lympsham Cricket Pavillion where attendants can purchase their map for the event, costing only £2, from 11am until 3pm.
The creator of the best scarecrow will take home the Lympsham Scarecrow Cup, as well as a cash prize.
Homemade cakes will be available for purchase from the Pavillion to re-fuel after the walk.
The Pavillion bar will be open on both days, and the cafe will be open on the Saturday.
All proceeds from the family event will be donated to Lympsham School and Lympsham Post Office.
Sponsors of the Scarecrow Trail include PKF Francis Clarke, Nuts & Bolts, The Organised Queens, Eco Plumbing, and Brent House Farm Shop.
