HUMPHREYS. on 15th July 2013, Ruth Mabel, peacefully aged 86 years, health failing, post-polio syndrome effects. Youngest daughter of Alfred and Mabel Wiscombe of 82 Godcroft, Yeovil. Pre-deceased by siblings Molly, Phyl, Jo and John. Married John Humphreys 1951, son Robert born 1953. Family (John as District Officer, Colonial Service) posted to Nigeria 1953. Survived Polio 1955 aged 30. Resident Berrow, Burnham-on-Sea from 1964. Resident Doniford Road, Williton from 1980. Celebrated 61st Wedding Anniversary 2012 but pre-deceased by John 13th December 2012. Always cheerful and unassuming soul. Sadly missed by son Robert, daughter-in-law Jane and grandsons Henry, William, George and Edward. The funeral service has taken place. Donations if desired to The British Polio Fellowship.
