DOWN Douglas (known as Peter) Of Burnham on Sea and former local optician passed away peacefully at The Towans Retirement Home on 9th April 2017 aged 97 years. Douglas will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday 2nd May 2017 at 2.00p.m at Sedgemoor Crematorium. Family flowers only please however donations, if desired, for The Salvation Army, can be left after the service or sent to P J Harris Funeral Services, 2 Cross Street, Burnham on Sea, Somerset TA8 1BN
