AN initiative to encourage people in Burnham to support independent food shops, returns to the town on Saturday (February 10).
Purple Love week, which runs until February 17 is taking place around the UK in 550 deli, farm shops and independent food shops.
Kyffins, in Victoria Street, is taking part in the event, with the aim of getting the independent businesses in the town noticed.
Tom Kyffin said: "It's all about supporting smaller independent food shops, the ones who often lose out at the hands of the big guys.
"It's also about getting everybody, young, old or ageless, to try something new and to spread a little love in the gloomy month of February."
Kyffins will be offering tastings and the new edition of the Little Book of Love, which is written for Purple Love Week will be available.
