WHETHER you view it as an irritating inconvenience, or a picturesque and fun rarity, you'd better brace yourself - snow is on the way to Burnham and Highbridge TONIGHT.
While we're well aware of the follies and potential pitfalls of weather predicting, it seems that the UK's experts are all agreed that Somerset will be buried beneath a cold white blanket later today (Wednesday).
By the time we wake up tomorrow morning, between six inches and one foot of snow could lie on the ground - enough to cause significant disruption.
Of course, the Weekly News will be doing its best to keep people updated on things like school closures and traffic problems, so keep a regular eye on this website for the very latest news.
And we'd also love to hear from you about any dramatic or amusing snow stories you encounter, and we'd love to receive any snowy pictures you might take.
You can post comments below, or send stories and pictures to newsdesk@burnhamnews.co.uk.
Now - where did we put those snow shoes?
