WE know what you're thinking - where's the snow?
If, like us, you woke up this morning full of excitement at the prospect of a gorgeous winter scene - and yes, maybe a day off work or school - then you will have been sorely disappointed.
This time yesterday, we revealed how the Met Office and BBC weather experts had predicted between six inches and a foot of snow for Burnham overnight.
Well, they were wrong. And those of us who excitedly drew back the curtains this morning expecting to be greeted by a beautiful white panorama were wrong too.
The area saw a few flakes late last night (Wednesday) but they didn't settle. The nearest place to here to get some snow was Weston, but early morning rain cleared that away early.
And so, while the rest of the country is today shivering beneath a frosty blanket, with chaos on the roads, trains cancelled, schools closed and flights delayed, it's very much business as usual here in Burnham.
So - has Burnham escaped? Or are there more predictions of snow to come?
Well, the Met Office suggests there is an outside chance of a few scattered flakes to come on Friday night - but who really believes the weather forecasters anyway?
You can rest assured, though, that if the snow does come, this website will be the number one place to look for the latest news of transport problems and school closures.
In the meantime, let us know your thoughts on the form below: Is snow a nuisance? Is it something to look forward to? Do the weathermen ever get it right?
We'd love to hear your thoughts...
