A GENEROUS Weekly News reader has offered his studio to a budding Burnham singer to record a charity song.
Jamie Lee, 29, hoped to raise enough money recording a song, called I Need A Friend, for Cancer Research UK and inspired by his late grandmother.
This week, Olly Owen offered the use of Beehive Studios in Middlezoy to help the up-and-coming performer make his disc.
Mr Owen said: "I saw the story in the paper and because my father-in-law died from cancer I thought it was a good cause."
And Mr Lee added: "This is the news I have been waiting for. It's absolutely brilliant."
