BRENT Knoll Parish Hall has once again benefited from a community grant, enabling its management committee to purchase a set of new tables.
Funds were put forward by Brent county councillor, Alan Ham, as part of £5,000 granted to all county councillors to help with community initiatives in their area.
Last year, Cllr Ham helped with the purchase of a sound system for use in the hall and events held on the village green.
He said: "I have been enormously impressed with the work carried out by the committee, in their ambitious project to increase the size and facilities of the hall and it is a pleasure to assist in some small way.
"Village halls are an essential part of modern village life and I pay tribute to those dedicated committee members who make such tremendous efforts to ensure that the Brent Knoll community has facilities available for meetings, clubs and societies and social events."
