FIVE Somerset teenagers who carried out a mystery shopper' style examination of Sedgemoor's sexual health clinics are being rewarded with the ride of their lives.
The youngsters, aged 16 to 18, carried out the survey on behalf of the county's youth service, approaching clinics with common - but sensitive - problems' and then reported back on how well they were handled.
The scheme will allow authorities to make sure that all services in the area are up to scratch - and as a thank you for their efforts, the mystery shoppers are being treated to a day of quad-biking.
Youth worker Claire Holcombe said: "It can be extremely embarrassing for young people to attend these clinics so it is important that when they do, they are dealt with in an understanding and confidential way.
"The work this group has done will help make sure that happens and I hope they enjoy their day out - they've earned it."
