THE chairman, Mr Arthur Hill, welcomed 37 members to the meeting on February 15 and expressed his pleasure that several who had been ill were back in attendance.
The usual business was carried out and several apologies were received. A letter of thanks from the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association was read out.
Members were pleased to welcome back Mr Peter Davey, who gave a talk with slides about Bristol trams. This particular talk was about horse-drawn trams. As always his presentation was very professional and entertaining. He was thanked by the vice chairman, Mr Tony Bilverstone.
After tea the meeting closed at 4pm. Next meeting is on March 1 at 2pm with speaker Dave Williams on Pub Signs.
