East Huntspill Women's Institute was told about the work of the RNLI at its February meeting. Tony Deahl, Burnham-on-Sea's Education and Visits Officer, talked to the ladies and showed them a film to illustrate the importance that the RNLI places on training. The highlight of the evening, however, occurred when the ladies were given the opportunity to try on dry suits and helmets worn by crew members and the equipment worn by the shore crews responsible for launching the boats.
