A COUPLE from Burnham have once again shown their support for St Margaret's Somerset Hospice, with a donation of £200.
Mike and Denise Perrin created a spectacular display of lights at their home over Christmas, with supportive neighbours and visitors donating generously to their collecting box.
Charity fundraising has played a huge part in the Perrins' lives.
After retiring five years ago, they decided it was time to support a local charity and chose St Margaret's Somerset Hospice.
They have both worked in the charity's shop in the High Street.
Denise said: "I really enjoy my day in the shop and I love meeting all the people who come in to browse.
"We both enjoy volunteering for St Margaret's - it is like being a member of a big club."
Mike said: "I derive a lot of personal satisfaction from my voluntary work and of course it is an added bonus when it results in a good contribution to help fund such a worthy charity. I would heartily recommend it."
