WHEN Mark Miller from East Huntspill was diagnosed with meningitis four years ago, he thought his favourite passion would be consigned to the past.
But that was before he discovered a unique charity that helps people with disabilities overcome their difficulties and be able to enjoy their motor biking hobby.
Such was the impact on his life, Mark is now trying to do his bit to help get others in his position out on the road again too.
He said: "I have been fighting illness for some years when I came across the National Association for Bikers with a Disability on the internet and met some members online.
"With their encouragement, they showed me I was still capable of achievement and the freedom that comes with it."
The organisation has more than 5,000 members, including both able-bodied and disabled people.
Its main aim is to help disabled people have motorcycles and trikes adapted to suit their needs, so they can enjoy the freedom of motorcycling.
