ANOTHER recognition is to be awarded to Highbridge war hero Frank Foley.
The town man helped thousands of Jews escape Nazi Germany and on April 29 his name will be included on a special plaque to be unveiled in London.
It will be the first commemorative plate to honour the British gentiles who saved many Jewish lives and members of Highbridge's Frank Foley Committee have been invited to the ceremony.
Committee spokesman Pam Lyes said the plaque had been organised by The West Synagogue of British Jews and the Three Faith forum.
"We are pleased with the further recognition," she said.
