SUPERMARKET giant Aldi has provided 'amazing care workers' at a Burnham-on-Sea care home with free lunches to thank them for their hard work during the Covid-19 pandemic.
On Wednesday (June 3) Aldi, in conjunction with its food-to-go supplier, Greencore, delivered a selection of Aldi sandwiches to Priory Court, to help fuel their hard working team for the afternoon.
The supermarket giant has donated hundreds of sandwiches to 10 different care homes and hospitals across the UK.
Vimal Samuel, Home Manager at Priory Court Care, said: “We’re working around the clock here at Priory Court and so the gesture of donating sandwiches to our team is really appreciated.”
