GLASSES worth thousands of pounds were stolen in a raid on a Somerset opticians.
Thieves targeted the Orriss and Low Opticians, in Woodborough Road, Winscombe, at just after 7pm on Tuesday, December 29.
During the break-in, thousands of pounds worth of Maui Jim designer sunglasses were stolen.
"The offender smashed a window and took the items from a display stand," said a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police.
Anyone who saw the incident, or has any information, should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 5220290191.
"We also want to speak to anyone who has been offered a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses for sale since Tuesday, or anyone who has seen a suspicious advert online or on social media which could relate to this offence," the spokesperson added.
