Person trapped in car in ditch Burnham-on-Sea freed by firefighters
A PERSON was freed by firefighters from a car which had crashed into a ditch.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at 11.43pm yesterday (February 5) to reports of a road traffic collision in Stoddens Road in Burnham-on-Sea.
Crews from Bridgwater went to the scene.
On arrival the crews found one car in a ditch on its side with one person still trapped by the seatbelt.
Firefighters freed the person using small tools and a short extension ladder.
Police also attended the incident.
