A MAN who was arrested when police raided a suspected cannabis farm has been charged, and will appear at Taunton Crown Court next month.
Last Wednesday (March 10), neighbourhood police carried out a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at premises in College Street, Burnham-on-Sea.
Inside the building, officers discovered more than 200 suspected cannabis plants being grown across three floors, and a 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of cannabis.
Now, Avon & Somerset Police has confirmed that Bledar Pepa, 35, of College Street in Burnham, had been charged with producing a class B drug (cannabis).
Pepa appeared before Taunton Magistrates Court on Friday, March 12, and has been remanded ahead of appearing at Taunton Crown Court on Friday, April 9.
