THEATRE fans can look forward to being able to buy tickets in person once again, from the start of next month.
The Playhouse Theatre, in Weston-super-Mare, has announced that it will be opening the doors to its box office for ticket purchases from Monday, May 3.
The box office will be open daily from 10am to 1pm, while tickets are still available to be purchased on the website (here) at all times, with new shows being added daily.
Those wishing to attend the box office will notice a few changes to the process to ensure Covid-safe measures are in place.
After 13 months of closure due to the national Covid-19 restrictions, The Playhouse has a re-opening season of shows lined up, including Channel 5’s Milkshake Live, Fireman Sam Live, We Love Little Mix and a pantomime production of Jack and the Beanstalk for younger members of the family.
Household names such as Sarah Millican, Milton Jones, Pam Ayres, Ian Waite and Vincent Simone, Leo Green, Josh Widdicombe, Omid Djalili, Jimmy Carr, The Stylistics, Harry Redknapp, Andy Parsons, Ray Mears, Giovanni Pernice, Joel Dommett, G4, Dominic Kirwan, Showaddywaddy, The Glenn Miller Orchestra are also coming to the town in the near future.
The first show of the year, Jersey Beats, is set to take to the stage on Friday, May 21, and together with all future performances will follow the government guidelines of the time.
Customers who have tickets for a show that has since been rescheduled are assured that their tickets will still be valid for the new performance dates.
