Julie Flurry won the by-election
THE Conservative candidate has won yesterday's town council by-election.
Julie Flurry was chosen to represent the central ward on Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge Town Counci.
She polled 427 votes, with the LibDems' Ganesh Gudka attracting 341 votes.
The turnout was 33.52 per cent.
A total of 13 ballot papers were spoiled.
