PARTS of a new BBC One drama are being filmed in Burnham-on-Sea this week.
Television personnel working on the six-part drama series Chloe cordoned off an area of Pier Street Car Park today (May 24), with filming due to start tomorrow afternoon outside of Quantock Court, running late into the night.
On Wednesday, May 26, filming will start in the early afternoon near the Jetty, South Esplanade and Pier Street Car Park.
Chloe is the first original TV series commission for creator and writer Alice Seabright.
According to the BBC website, "Chloe is an assertive, audacious thriller exploring obsession, identity, grief, and truth.
"A six-part series for BBC One about a young woman who starts leading a double life to uncover the truth behind the death of her estranged best friend."
This is the latest filming to be taking place in Sedgemoor recently.
Cheddar Gorge was used for two major advertising campaign, and the BBC Natural History Unit was filming on Berrow Beach.
