A NORTH Somerset holiday park has been recognised as a 2021 Travellers' Choice award winner.
The awards celebrate businesses which consistently deliver fantastic experiences for travellers around the globe, and earn positive traveller reviews on Tripadvisor.
As challenging as the past year has been, Riverside Holiday Village - located in the village of Bleadon, near Weston-super-Mare - was able to stand out from the rest.
The family-friendly holiday park offers a range of accommodation options, including seasonal touring pitches and static holiday homes to rent or buy, and facilities that include an indoor swimming pool, bar and clubhouse, convenience shop and seasonal fishing.
The last 18 months have seen Riverside Holiday Village invest in its hospitality spaces, creating a brand new sports bar, beer garden and kids zone.
”We are delighted to have won this award, especially in such a tumultuous year,” said David Tattersall, group manager at West Country Park Homes Ltd.
“Our team at Riverside Holiday Village has worked extremely hard to keep our visitors safe without compromising their holiday experience, and it’s fantastic to have all of their hard work recognised with this award.”
WELL REVIEWED: Riverside Holiday Village
Kanika Soni, chief commercial officer at Tripadvisor, commented: “Congratulations to all the winners of the 2021 Travellers’ Choice Awards.
“I know the past year has been extremely challenging for tourism businesses.
"What has impressed me is how businesses adapted to these challenges, implementing new cleanliness measures, adding social distancing guidelines, and utilising technology to prioritise guest safety.
"The Travellers’ Choice Awards highlight the places that are consistently excellent - delivering quality experiences time and time again, even while navigating changing customer expectations and new ways of working.
"Based on a full year of reviews from customers, this award speaks to the great service and experience they provided guests in the midst of a pandemic.”
