TRAFFIC CHAOS: Stock image of traffic on the M5 motorway
THERE is some heavy traffic on the M5 motorway this afternoon, as holiday makers flock to the South West.
Highways England have said they are starting to see congestion on the M5 in both directions.
According to travel sites, traffic on the M5 northbound near Taunton, Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare is heavy.
"Please make sure that you are obeying signs and signals set, and drive to the conditions," said a spokesperson for Highways England.
