THE Grand Atlantic Hotel in Weston-super-Mare is preparing to host weddings again after re-opening last month.
The hotel has enjoyed a busy few weeks since re-opening and is looking to take the next steps in its post-pandemic recovery.
The latest Government guidance allows for weddings to go ahead with no limit on numbers other than social distancing requirements.
The Grand Atlantic, which is part of the newly formed Coast and Country Hotel Collection, has welcomed back locals, regulars and new guests since re-opening.
General manager David Ideson said: "While the extension of social distancing measures does continue to restrict part of our business, we’re very much focusing on the positives and we’re delighted to be able to bring weddings back to our wonderful venue – albeit with some necessary social distancing restrictions in place."
The hotel is tempting couples to marry there by offering a 30-guest wedding for £2,021.
Mr Ideson added: "We’ve established a 30-guest package with more restricted numbers in mind but with the ability to supplement this with additional guests if the couple choose to.
"We’re just very excited to be able to welcome weddings again and want to offer both flexibility and affordability in what’s been a difficult year."
The Grand Atlantic Hotel was rescued from the risk of permanent closure in 2020 following the collapse of Specialist Leisure Group, the then owner of the Shearings brand.
