MAJOR roadworks are being carried out at the Coal Orchard development in Taunton from today.
The Highways improvements scheme will last at least five weeks, according to the Travel Somerset arm of Somerset County Council.
It is one eight projects starting in Somerset today (Monday, July 26) flagged up by the county's Travel Somerset arm.
The full list of roadworks beginning in Somerset today is as follows.
MONDAY, JULY 26.
Coal Orchard, Taunton: highways improvements, 26 working days.
Peak Lane and School Lane, Compton Dundon: drainage works, 20 working days.
Lewis Drove, Godney: drainage works, 20 working days.
Burn Hill, Langford Budville: drainage scheme, 15 working days.
Old Frome Road, Doulting: removing ash dieback trees, 15 working days.
Bristol Road, Biddisham: signing and lining work, 15 working days.
Doulting Hill, Doulting: drainage works, 15 working days.
Burts Hill to Nunney Catch Roundabout, Wanstrow: drainage works, five working days.
