AN APPEAL has been launched over the siting of a caravan on farmland in Trowbridge.
Earlier this year, Thea Gregory was served with an enforcement notice over an unauthorised change of use of agricultural land on Marsh Road.
Wiltshire Council said that the siting of a caravan on the land constituted a change of use from agricultural to mixed use, and that the touring camper was being used as residential accommodation.
The enforcement notice means that the caravan must be removed from the land.
However, Barratt Homes has now launched an appeal over the council’s notice.
A date for the hearing has not yet been set, but any interested parties are urged to get in contact with the Planning Inspectorate by October 4.
