A FAMILY of swans got a luxurious ride home after getting stuck in a busy car park.
The family, two adults and four babies, were rescued from a car park at Highbridge Caravan Centre, on the A38 in Highbridge.
"The family live on a body of water opposite Highbridge Caravans and have wandered off before," said a spokesperson from Secret World Rescue Centre.
"They were rescued back in July for the first time, as they were walking in the main road and were at great danger of being hit by passing cars.
"Three of our staff members went out to the local caravan company to rescue the swans."
There, they met Wayne, one of the employees, who helped catch and rescue the swan family.
And this time, Wayne kindly offered to transport them to the Secret World Wildlife Rescue Centre in his vehicle.
"We would like to thank Wayne and Highbridge Caravan Centre for informing and helping us rescue this lovely family," the spokesperon added.
Meanwhile, Secret World is currently running a special fundraiser.
The charity is looking for people who can raise £100 to help care for wildlife by the end of the year.
People are being encouraged to pledge to raise (or donate) £100 for the Big Give Christmas Challenge.
All they need to do is make a pledge (a promise to donate) of £100 or more by midnight on Sunday, September 5.
You'll then have until the end of 2021 to raise the money and pay it in by January 14, 2022.
"You could set yourself a challenge and ask for sponsorship, run an event, or simply ask your friends, family and colleagues for donations," the spokesperson said.
