A MOTORHOME was destroyed in a fire on a farm in the Burnham-on-Sea area.
A barn the motorhome was stored in was also damaged in the "agricultural" blaze which started at 6.10pm yesterday (Thursday, February 3).
Crews from Burnham, Bridgwater and Martock tackled the incident in an open-ended Dutch barn between Highbridge and Mark.
The main seat of the fire had been extinguished by 7.20pm and firefighters remained on site to make the area safe, including making gas cylinders from the motorhome safe and checking for hotspots in the barn.
Crews left the scene at 7.46pm.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental.
The motorhome was 100 per cent damaged by fire and a fifth of the barn was damaged by fire.
