A CASUALTY was taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash last night (February 4).
Fire engines from Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea and Glastonbury attended the incident in Mark, near Highbridge, around 7pm.
A heavy rescue vehicle also attended.
"On arrival crews confirmed that this was indeed a two vehicle collision, with one vehicle on its side, with the driver trapped," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
"Crews released the casualty using hydraulic cutting equipment and a winch.
"The casualty was then conveyed to hospital via ambulance."
