Thirty trees have been planted in Apex Park to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee
THIRTY native apple trees have been planted in the Diamond Jubilee Field at Apex Park, Highbridge.
They were planted by Val Morely, Friends of Apex Park volunteer, and Lizzie Bull, Sedgemoor’s Parks Assistant, in readiness for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, which take place between June 2 and June 5.
The trees will also provide a new habitat for birds and wildlife.
