A FREE course that will target unemployed or economically inactive people who need specialist, personalised support to get back into work has reached Bridgwater.
Recro Consulting has announced the arrival of its The Life You Want programme to Bridgwater.
This involves developing key employability skills and support delivered through group and one-to-one sessions.
Past programmes have frequently seen 50 per cent of people back into work, or training with 99 per cent having reported an increase of clarity regarding their plan for employment and how they will overcome their barriers into work.
The Life You Want provides a combination of traditional employment support, such as revising CVs and interview preparation, alongside personalised career coaching based on the participant’s particular goals, skills and circumstances.
Managing director of Recro Consulting, John McDonough, has been running employability programmes for over a decade. He said: “The Life You Want is one of the best programmes in the UK for getting people back into work.
“We’re always receiving feedback from former participants, thanking us for giving them more confidence, more motivation, and some stellar support into work.
“I remember a comment that one of our candidates – Dale – made, thanking us for helping him find a job on one of our programmes. He wrote: ‘The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. -Nelson Mandela. Teams like you have at Recro are what make this possible.’”
The programme is set to run for two weeks, starting Tuesday, March 29: three days the first week, and four days the second.
Candidates can register themselves for the course on Recro Consulting’s website – www.recroconsulting.co.uk/bridgwater
