AT the weekend members of the Brent Knoll and surrounding community enjoyed their annual Book Fair.
Running from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday a number of people took up the chance to read new books, buy cheap second hand books and enjoy some food.
As an added bonus, the Community Shop held a sausage sizzle on the Saturday morning, in the Jubilee Room for guests to make the most of the event.
There was a wide range of books on offer including hardbacks, paperbacks, old books and new books, children’s books and facts and fiction.
Most paperbacks were sold at 50p and most hardbacks at £1 so guests were able to get good value for money when it came to books.
Overall is was a great opportunity for people to get a bargain, brush up on their favourite hobby, buy a book for bedtime, something to send you sweetly to sleep, or scare themselves silly with an exciting thriller.
