OVER the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, Secret World Wildlife Rescue in Highbridge held a number of open days for locals and animal lovers to enjoy.
From Friday 15th to Monday 18th April, the animal rescue centre hosted these open days for the first time in almost three years.
"We’ve missed 2 whole years of events due to the pandemic, but most of all we’ve missed you," The rescue centre said online.
"Our Easter open weekend is going ahead this year and it’s bigger than ever, with 4 full days of activities and talks for all the family."
On the Friday a talk by Chris Sperring MBE from the Hawk and Owl Trust was the main event.
On Saturday was the return of the popular dog show and on Easter Sunday guests took part in a Golden Egg hunt.
Finally on Monday a talk by Martin Hughes-Games was the feature; he is a well-known presenter of Spring and Autumn Watch and patron of Secret World.
