A LOCAL church held a summer fête on Saturday featuring a raffle, a barbecue, a tombola, cakes and refreshments, and plenty of other stalls.
The fête was held on the lawns of St Peter and All Hallows Church in West Huntspill near Highbridge on July 2 between 11am and 3pm.
Other goods on sale included plants, ‘nearly new’ items, books and jigsaws, and ‘bric-a-brac’.
The church holds several social events and fundraisers throughout the year as well as weekly coffee mornings.
On Saturday, July 9, the church will host a community garage sale offering locals the chance to “come for a leisurely walk around East Huntspill and find a bargain or two!”
On August 27, Pightle Paws will put on a summer fayre and dog show from 12pm in the church's hall and grounds.
You can see the church's social calendar on its website (westhuntspillchurch.org.uk/westhuntspillchurch/social-calendar).
