The man in charge of the editorial department of the Burnham & Highbridge Weekly News is set to hold a Meet the Editor session.

Tim Lethaby has been editor of the newspaper and website of the Burnham & Highbridge Weekly News since December, and he is asking readers new and old to come and chat with him about coverage.

Being held on Friday July 22 from 11am to noon, the Meet the Editor session will take place at the DusiCake coffee and cake shop, on the corner of Oxford Street and Abingdon Street in Burnham-on-Sea.

Tim said: "I have loved my first seven months as editor of the Weekly News, and I feel I am now in a position to model the paper and website on the type of positive, community news I champion.

"But this is your newspaper and website, the people of Burnham, Highbridge and the surrounding villages, and I want to know what is important to you.

"Please pop down to DusiCake for a coffee and a chat, to let me know what you like most about our news, what you would like more of, or just let me know about a story you would like us to cover."
