RECORD numbers of people visited The King Alfred School Academy (TKASA) Sixth Form at its open morning.
There was a buzz as current students and staff showed round the prospective students and their families.
TKASA Sixth Form in Highbridge, enjoys excellent results, inspirational teaching and a school style community atmosphere with fabulous expanded facilities.
The Sixth Form is attracting students from across the area, including many from Weston-super-Mare, Worle, Bridgwater and even internally as well as from Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge.
TKASA and its Sixth Form have had outstanding success in the last few years since becoming part of The Priory Learning Trust and seen its popularity soar with improvements to facilities of well over £1 million.
The new expanded facilities will include a coffee lounge, more study areas and rooms for meetings.
Principal Dan Milford said: “This was a terrific open morning and it was wonderful to see so many students and their families over the morning."
