BURNHAM'S Esplanade will host a grand fireworks display on Sunday, November 6 as part of the town's carnival weekend.
The display has been organised by Burnham-on-Sea & Highbridge Town Council in partnership with Skyburst, a Bristol-based fireworks company.
Large crowds are expected to gather on the seafront for the display, which will begin at 6.30pm at the jetty.
A spokesperson for the town council said: “Everyone is welcome to the Esplanade to view the display.
“Entry to watch the display is free. With the increase in Covid infection rates, spectators are encouraged to wear facemasks.
“The Rotary Club will be collecting donations on the night for local charities.
“To help quickly reunite any lost children, free wristbands are available from the Toy Cupboard on Pier Street and the Information Centre.
“A mobile number can be written on the wristbands, which can be worn by children attending the event.”
The event has been funded by the town council with the support of four local businesses: Taste of the Orient, Barrington and Sons Solicitors, Burnham-on-Sea.com, and Positive Wealth Creation Ltd.
