BURNHAM & Highbridge residents and guests enjoyed a fantastic fireworks display on the seafront ahead of its 2022 carnival celebrations.
The display was organised by Burnham-on-Sea & Highbridge Town Council and began at 6.30pm on Sunday, November 6.
The fireworks were fired from the Esplanade jetty by Skyburst, a Bristol-based fireworks company.
The event was funded by the town council with the support of three local businesses: Taste of the Orient, Barrington & Sons Solicitors and Burnham-on-Sea.com.
Positive Wealth Creation Ltd were also thanked by organisers for donating and buying trees to offset the carbon emissions created by the display.
Despite some wind and rain before the display, people still turned out in numbers for the impressive display.
Members of the local rotary club were in attendance with charity buckets, with all proceeds going to good causes within the community and to support major projects.
