THREE temporary toilets have been placed in Apex Park, Highbridge, while work is carried out to repair a water leak.
On Thursday, January 5, Sedgemoor District Council (SDC) installed one disabled toilet and two standard toilets from Burnham Portable Toilet Hire.
The facilities are located outside the Apex Park public toilets block.
A council spokesperson said: “If you are visiting Apex Park, you will see we have temporary toilets on place.
“We have installed one temporary disabled loo and two standard temporary loos to replace the toilets that are currently out of use.
“These will be in place while work is undertaken to fix a water leak.”
The Friends of Apex Park group works with the council to manage the park and enhance it for community members and wildlife.
It covers around 42 acres and includes a fishing lake, children's play area, woodland walk, outdoor gym, dog agility area and skate park.
In July, the park retained its coveted Green Flag award from Keep Britain Tidy.
