IN August of this year, 3 members of the Beachside Holiday Park team will take to the skies to help raise money for BARB Search & Rescue.

A spokeserson said: "BARB Search & Rescue operates 2 lifesaving Hovercrafts and 2 Inshore Rescue Boats in Somerset.

"BARB is affiliated with Surf-Lifesaving GB being able to provide mutual aid to other teams in and around the region and support National Resilience to flooding with our fully trained Flood Team."

"The team support Coastguard, Police, Fire and Ambulance on the front-line when called upon with our dedicated volunteers 24 hours a day.

Please help Steve, Gary and Katie raise as much money as possible as they free-fall for 60 seconds from a scary 15,000ft for this local and worthy cause.

BARB Search & Rescue - Burnham-on-Sea hovercraft thanked Beachside Holiday Park and said: "A massive thank you to Katie, Gary and Steve from Beachside Holiday Park, who are doing a 15000ft skydive to raise funds for us!"

BARB is a charity that relies on public donations to keep operating with running costs of around £50,000 a year.
