A MAN from Highbridge has been found guilty by a court of failing to inform the police who was driving a car suspected of committing an offence.
Steven Bosco-Mboga, 37, of Moorland Road, had previously denied the offence at North Somerset Magistrates' Court in June.
But the Bench ruled he had commtted the offence on July 1 last year.
Bosco-Mboga was fined £180 when he appeared at the same court this month.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £72 along with Crown Prosecution Service costs of £350.
He also received six penalty points on his driving licence.
The court said payments towards his total court bill of £602 should be deducted from his benefit payments.
