A CHARITY fishing competition will be taking place this October to raise money for SADS UK (Sudden Arrhythmic Death).
Luke Organ was only 35 when he passed away last year. He was described by his sister as a "fit and healthy chap", who lived with his partner and two young children.
Bev Brown, his sister, said: "He passed away July 2022 from SADS, a massive shock to our family and all that knew him.
"My aim is to raise money for SADS. Last year we, as a family, held a charity music evening and a bingo evening back in April. I have also done a skydive.
"SADS charity has supported me with 10 weeks of counselling, obviously this doesn't come cheap, I want to give back and raise as much as I can in memory of my brother."
The Emerald Pool Charity Fishing Match will take place on Saturday, October 14.
