A TWELVE-year-old girl needed hospital treatment for her injuries after being hit by a car in Highbridge.
Police are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage following the incident on Wednesday (September 20).
The girl was walking in Field Way between about 8.15am and 8.30am when she was hit by a grey Vauxhall.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said she "sustained minor physical injuries".
They addd: "The girl attended Weston General Hospital but has since returned home.
"The driver remained at the scene and is assisting us with our enquiries."
Anyone who saw what happened or was driving in the area at the time and may have useful dashcam footage is asked to call police on 101 and quote reference number 5223229053.
