A HOLIDAY centre in the Burnham-on-Sea area has been ranked best in the UK by the AA.
Warren Farm Holiday Centre in Brean was announced as the UK's Holiday Centre of the Year at the annual AA Caravan and Camping Awards.
The awards honoured 12 sites across the country, carefully handpicked by the AA’s expert inspectors who assessed them based on their exceptional quality and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
Categories included AA Glamping Site of the Year, AA Campsite of the Year and AA Holiday Centre of the Year - which was taken home by the Brean business.
This year’s winners come from every corner of the UK, from Cumbria, to Scotland, and the Isle of Wight.
An AA Inspector who visited Warren Farm Holiday Centre winner said: “One of best and well managed family-run Holiday Centres that have yet to win this award since its inception in 2013.
"Owned by the Harris family for over five generations and developed from a working farm, Warren Farm is a large, all-encompassing holiday park that continues to improve every year.
"In a glorious spot on the north Somerset coast, with panoramic views of the Mendip Hills and Brean Down, the park is just a short stroll to Brean’s famous five-mile sandy beach, where guests can swim, sunbathe or fly a kite.”
Mike Harris, Director at Warren Farm, said: “During our annual inspection, this year Warren Farm once again received the highest rating of 5 Platinum Pennants, an accolade that we are always very proud of.
“We are absolutely thrilled to now also be the AA’s Holiday Centre of the Year.
"To win such a prestigious, national award is fantastic.
"Thank you so much to all of our wonderful hardworking staff, our loyal customers and supporters!”
Hosting the awards, Simon Numphud, Managing Director at AA Media, remarked: "With a staggering 42% of the UK embarking on camping adventures within the country each year, we take immense pleasure in revealing the must-visit locations for the forthcoming year.
"The winners of this year have not only demonstrated unparalleled quality but have also exhibited a true dedication to ensuring their guests' experiences are truly exceptional."
