An RNLI volunteer undertook a sponsored parachute jump to raise money for a Burnham-on-Sea lifeboat station.
Sarah Hand, a volunteer for the station since 2019, carried out the daring feat on October 4.
Sarah, who was compelled to quit work due to MS, said: "I thoroughly enjoy my time working in the shop and love all the people I work with.
"I have always wanted to do a parachute jump and was given the OK by my doctors, so I'm doing it before they change their minds!".
With moral support from her husband Wayne, she soared far above her initial target of £300, raising an impressive £1,265.
After presenting the funds, Sarah shared: "I really enjoyed the experience, and if the opportunity presents itself, would love to do it again."
Burnham Lifeboat Operations Manager Matt Davies responded: "That is an amazing amount raised for our lifeboat station.
"We are indebted to Sarah for her support."
