THE owner of a furniture shop in Burnham-on-Sea hopes to open his new Mammoth Comfort Centre in the next couple of weeks.
Steve Scott, who runs Scotts Home Furnishers on Victoria Street, told the Weekly News he hopes to open his new shop on the High Street on Monday, January 22.
Steve also said that the Mammoth Comfort Centre 'will bring a new standard of comfort, sitting, and sleeping to Burnham on Sea'.
"From mattresses designed to enhance the wellbeing of athletes, to rise and recline chairs for the less able, and an improved comfort level of sitting and sleeping for everyone," he added.
"Burnham-on-Sea will have the only shop in the UK who’s display will include, every Mammoth chair, sofa, rise & recline chair made using Mammoth medical grade foam and every mattress in Mammoth’s Active, Comfort, Essentials and adjustable Independent Ranges of pure foam and foam on pocket springing.
The store will also offer seats and motorised beds designed to help those who are less mobile.
Mammoth Comfort Centre will deliver any item locally free of charge, which includes the item being placed into the buyer's room of choice, as well as the removal of packaging, and if desired, the removal of the previous item that is being replaced by the new one.
