A SIX-BEDROOM farmhouse near Burnham-on-Sea has gone up for sale as a restoration project.
Vole House Farm, in the village of Mark, will soon be auctioned off with a starting bid of £650,000.
However, Auction House South West believes the property would be worth near double that figure once restoration works are complete.
The house boasts six bedrooms, four reception rooms, and numerous outbuildings, set within 4.5 acres of land.
A spokesperson for the auction house said: "This is an excellent opportunity to acquire an impressive farmhouse in a popular village location.
"With extensive land, outbuildings and stables, Vole House Farm offers a potential business opportunity for future residents or could simply make the perfect family home for generations to come.
"Tucked away on a country lane on the outskirts of the popular village of Mark, the property offers easy access to the M5, providing excellent commuting links to Taunton and Bristol."
The online auction to sell the property will take place on Monday, April 22.
